A Plan to GROW | PEO Blog

Wednesday March 27, 2013

The PEO buzz has been GROW.  Grow your PEO - Grow the PEO Industry.  We’ve heard it and couldn’t agree more; it’s time to push our industry, to push ourselves to do whatever we can to grow.

As an industry we’ve been hovering around 3% market penetration forever.  It’s time to change that, and take our own future and the future of our industry.

But the questions are, what we should do, how should we do it.

We have a plan, it will help you expose your PEO to potential clients, and it should have a nice ROI.  If you are interested and want to be part of it email us your contact information (Name, Title, Company Name, & Phone Number) to and we’ll email you the details.

PEO Network Acquired by

Thursday January 10, 2013

RALEIGH, NC—(Marketwire - Jan 10, 2013) - PEO Network has been purchased by Rodney Diekema, the founder and owner of

“We’re pleased and honored to continue the legacy of Carrie Aaron, she’s an icon in our industry,” said Rodney Diekema, new President of PEO Network. “Sadly, Carrie suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2012 and could no longer work full-time. I was honored that she chose me to carry the torch.”

“After serving thirty years in the PEO industry, it was time to focus on my health,” said Aaron. “Don’t count me out though, as my brain heals, I will continue to pursue consulting and research projects that serve the PEO industry and will stay onboard at PEO Network as a consultant. I have the utmost confidence in Rodney Diekema to carry on the tradition of excellence and integrity that PEO Network is known for.”

“There are few people that have a greater understanding of the PEO industry or have helped more people succeed in this challenging business than Carrie Aaron and Rodney Diekema. Both have dedicated their careers to the PEO industry,” commented Pat Cleary, President and CEO of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO).

NAPEO’s Marketplace 2012 Opening Session with Steve Farber | PEO Blog

Monday October 01, 2012

What a GREAT way to start NAPEO’s Professional Employer & Marketplace 2012.

Best-selling author and leadership guru Steve Farber demonstrated that dedicating yourself to bringing others along so that they can achieve more than you is the ultimate way to boost talent, ramp productivity and create truly significant current and future leaders. With his powerful, three-step approach, Farber reveals how your PEO can achieve explosive results by encouraging every leader and employee to take on a Greater Than Yourself relationship for unprecedented personal growth and productivity.

Excitment is in the air, I’m lucky enough to be spending my week in beautiful Scottsdale Arizona at one of the largest PEO conferences in years.  Steve Farber opened NAPEO’s 2012 conference with the largest audience since 2008,  I hate to say it, but if you’re not here you’re missing out on a great event.

After what seemed like forever, it would appear that there is renewed excited surrounding the PEO Industry and the business climate in general.  This year’s conference theme is “Grow Your PEO”, from the conversations I’ve had, it seems like 2012 will be a banner year for PEO’s around the country.

Stay tuned to for conference highlights.  And if you can, do your best to get to Scottsdale, there’s a lot more to see and do at NAPEO’s Professional Employer & Marketplace 2012.

Hawaii did it - Michigan should be next | PEO Blog

Thursday July 19, 2012

Not sure if you had heard, but on July 10th Hawaii’s Governor VETOED their Senate Bill 2424, which could have put a number of the PEO’s in Hawaii out of business.

This is an example of how the creation of necessary government could have crippled the entire PEO industry in Hawaii, leaving only a couple large PEO’s to do business in the state.

Our industry does not need state regulations, we are already heavily regulated by existing employment, insurance, and other laws, both federal and state, and the Michigan Professional Employer Regulatory Act creates an additional layer of unnecessary oversight and expense.  An unnecessary expense to the PEO’s, the State of Michigan and PEO Clients in Michigan.

Hawaii shoulld be proud of how the PEO community came together to save the industry in Hawaii.  If you want tosee more about the efforts in Hawaii visit

Now it’s time for Michigan’s PEO to band together to REPEAL or DEREGULATE Michigan’s Professional Employer Act.

If you haven’t done it yet, please support the efforts to REPEAL or DEREGULATE Michigan’s Professional Employer Act by signing the electronic petition – simply click this link:
When you click the link, it brings you to a form that processes your support electronically, if you prefer to sign a paper document, simply email and we’ll sent you a PDF that you can sign and email or fax back.

In addition to signing the petition, contact your Michigan State Representative and let them know you support the efforts to REPEAL or DEREGULATE Michigan’s Professional Employer Act.

Please share this link with other PEO owners so we can build a support network like the one they built in Hawaii.
