Payroll must be done timely and accurately to avoid penalties and worker dissatisfaction. However, payroll processing is complex, involving more than 100 U.S. Department of Labor regulations and several evolving state and federal tax rules.

“It’s very complicated,” said Bill Rosado, founder and owner of Managed Pay, a Las Vegas-based professional employer organization (PEO) that provides payroll and professional employer services.
